Orange duck Recipe

Ingredients for cook Orange duck


2.5 kilos of duck
6 oranges
80 grams of butter
1 glass of brandy
3 tablespoons sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedute for cook Orange duck

Transfer the duck by the flames and discard the giblets.

Wash, dry thoroughly inside and out and cut into prey.


With a knife, peel 2 oranges, cut only the outer orange and leaving the white part. Putting Heat a large skillet with butter and cut rind into thin strips and let it brown slowly.

Incorporate duck slices to golden brown on each side and season with salt and pepper.

Once finished cooking, place them in a serving dish and keep warm.


Put sugar in a pan and when it go brown, add the cooking liquid passed through a sieve. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until dark.

Pour sauce over duck and garnish with orange peel
